Elk Grove Chainrackers–Climbing the Ladder
It’s a little after 1am, or should I say 2am. Did you set your clocks forward? Congrats are definitely sent out to Micaela, Clay, and Jack. Micaela has stepped on the first rung with her awesome round of golf in her first tourney. You must be really excited and looking forward to next month. Clay, besides being a very proud father, your improvement on the course has moved you up a couple rungs. I know, with your determination to improve, your handicap will be changing again after next month’s play. Jack, you must be a construction worker. Hammering out a 49 and building you own ladder for success.
Props to you all, but let me make a small suggestion to you 3 and all Chainrackers. Don’t try to climb to my position on the ladder. That is why I was not in attendance for the monthly. Spent the night in a Santa Ana hospital due to falling off the ladder I climbed. Don’t think I’ll be playing much before the next monthly and I’ll just be using a stepstool from now on. Once again, congrats and Keep ‘em Flyin’.

John, so sorry to hear of the fall…or worse, that sudden stop at the end. I was hoping you missed the monthly for something more pleasant, like a Caribbean cruise or a visit from Ed McMahon (with a big check in his hand).
Well, you are still tied for first and holding strong. We look forward to having you back on the course as soon as you are able. BTW, I wish you could have seen Micaela play, if you haven’t already. She is going to be a real competitor!
